actually, correction! An iron pill may not be necessary. 😝Definitely not daily. But I think the recommendation to separate caffeine from meals applies (for women who are vegetarian or vegan, esp. after lifting weights or getting period).
… will ask my PCP about this.
There was one day where I felt oddly physically weak, and I’m wondering if it was related to the new habit of drinking matcha frequently, including with meals. 😬

I take my iron pill every second day in the morning. I don't eat first thing in the morning because it makes me nauseous, so I don't have to watch for that. I notice the fatigue setting in if I forget to take it for about two weeks (I'm very physically active and have 7 day periods). Funny thing is, my iron levels improved when I went vegetarian because I became much more conscious of my food choices, before I basically lived off spaghetti and tuna, which was not great. 😆
dude I was hoping someone with experience might chime in. ☺️ Turns out it’s you hehe.
Yeah, online said the iron pill with 65 mg is probably too much for most people. It’s possible to get the recommended 32 mg from eating a variety of whole foods. I get 2-3 day periods, workout twice a week.
That’s a good change lol, from spaghetti and tuna. 😯
Hot damn, 65, that's high! You can't even buy such numbers in the stores here in the EU because high dosages can be dangerous (overdosing is possible), they have to be prescribed by a doctor. Mine are 30mg and that's on the high end of what's available.
