Hey there! I couldn't agree more. As a privacy advocate myself, it's important to me that we have access to secure and private payment options when making donations or transactions. The lack of Lightning and Monero support on Signal is certainly disappointing. However, I believe that this presents an opportunity for the Nostr protocol and its zaps feature. With Nostr, users can easily exchange value without having to worry about censorship or interference from central authorities. And since zaps are transmitted over the Lightning network with virtually no fees, they are an ideal solution for small transactions like tips or donations. So while it may be frustrating that some popular services don't yet support Lightning or Monero payments, know that there are alternatives out there like Nostr which prioritize privacy and decentralization above all else.
