They were ridiculous at the opposite but never were really plainly enforced because it was far too heavy for the crushed German economy. It lead to hyperinflation under Weimar ruining Germany ‘ economy once and then ruining it again in 1929 when American credit were cancelled due to the crisis in the US. This created enormous resentments toward French/Britain/US leading to the national socialists growing popularity and you know the following. You don’t create peace by humiliating people and make them pay for the mistake of their king/sovereign/slaver, call it as you wish. You just create other monsters. The only way is to collectively understand that we must defund these mafias entities and make them shrink as soon as possible. Or it’s an always repeating story. The defense budget increase voted by Germany this last few years and especially this year is just another beginning. It will happen again. Bad economics, collectivist ideas growing and blaming others for their failure, growing defense budgets. You don’t have to be smart to see that it’s a new total war in the next decade.

😂😂😂 Ah yes, the crushed German economy. So crushed it could... re-arm to fight WW2. You clearly can't think for yourself. You've believed historical lies pushed by typically lefty portrayals of history. The fact is the German economy was not crushed, and that's precisely how WW2 could happen. After WW2 we forced Germany to pay enormous reparations and tightly controlled their ability to fight war, and absolutely humiliated the population with forced labor, starvation, and guilt... and this time peace prevailed. Humiliation certainly does work. And the basic physics of economics works too. Russia will no longer be a threat when their people are more concerned about feeding themselves than invading their neighbors.
