I take that back. It seems like it’s covered up a lot when using the colander but it doesn’t really show on the camera. I think the inability to focus and the amount of light just makes it hard to capture. (Shadow picture to follow) image

It’s so funny everyone thinks they need special glasses or pinhole box to see the eclipse but all you gotta do these days is point your phone at the sun and look at the screen. 😆 I say this as someone who was wishing he could get ahold of those glasses or wishing I had a welding helmet or something, then while sitting outside for a bit just thought… “wait a sec, my fucking phone. 🤦🏻‍♂️” image

The collandee things works if the holes are close to the aperture of the camera. Otherwise you can point the collandee in the sun and look at it's shadow. That's the same idea but the collenesr is the camera lens instead of the camera🤷🏽
