Introducing Nostr Journal! I vibe coded the journaling app I always wanted to build on nostr. A private space for your thoughts, fully decentralized and encrypted. Key Features: Your notes, your relays. End-to-end encrypted with your own keys. Instantly syncs across devices via nostr network. Publish notes or highlights directly to your nostr feed. Supports remote signers, extensions, and nsec. Developers, I'd love feedback on the encryption and security. Also, what other features should I build? All ideas are welcome. GitHub: Thanks to @Derek Ross @Marty Bent @Geektoshi @Keychat @npub10qdp...arpj @Gigi @jack mallers for inspiring me to lean into ai and try my hand at vibecoding as someone with zero dev experience. #introduction #vibecode #opensource

Much appreciated. I have a new feature idea I have in my head, but not sure how to implement it. I think it could be a new feature implemented across a range of nostr apps. Will DM you about it soon.
Very fair, I’m not a real dev so I can’t see it from that perspective but it’s exciting for plebs to have a tool that can go from 0 to 1. Try out my app and let me know what a real dev would do differently. I’m open to any feedback good or bad!
cool! is the thought here to write stuff down, but not publish all notes, only ones where you specifically hit the publish button? also, the highlight feature doesn't use the highlight event kind, right?
Correct. Functions as a fully private journaling app but give users an easy way to share insightful highlights to their social feed as Kind 1 notes. The highlight just grabs the selected texted from a specific journal entry that a user wants to share.
