Slavery is integral to the world economy. Get cheap resources from Africa, cheap labor from countries like China and Bangladesh to supply the US market with cheap goods.
Improve your bottom line by using the vast incarcerated population to provide goods and services.
Where are you going to get your work force for sweatshops and prostitution?
The IMF, World Bank and CFA franc are not going anywhere and they will keep exploiting people.
Slavery has exited for centuries, it won't be solved in your live time. We'll always be looking for ways to exploit others, pay less and enrich ourselves.
