Good morning from El Salvador We are now in DAY 28 since the government rescinded Bitcoin as legal tender, at the request of the IMF (effective 30 April) This makes it more clear than ever that the Bitcoin revolution will be bottom up. If we want a better future, we, all of us, need to be active in creating it Introductory Bitcoin education will be paramount in that process. We need to support its independence. We need to be active in defining our own future Read the manifesto, sign the pledge and join the movement! View quoted note →

John. What is the status of Mi Primer Bitcoin educating the teachers in El Salvador and the implementation of a Bitcoin curriculum in the school system there?

we helped train 500 public teachers spread across the nation which should all be teaching their own version of the MPB open source Bitcoin Diploma late last year we had a meeting and suggested they take the reins henceforth and create a Bitcoin Dept. they agreed then. we may help more here and there but think our role in helping them get started is largely over separate from that we continue to teach on our own independently, in schools, cafes, etc. around the country there will also be some materials for younger kids that starts to come out this year. weve had a limited role with that creation but after training done new teachers our role there will also be reduced despite some bearish moves in other aspects there are plenty of reasons to be bullish on BTC edu here, from MPB & otherwise
