A more general observation is that the people who are most active on nostr seem to be big into the sovereign individual ethos. I have stoic and libertarian tendencies but am socially aware enough to know that all of humanity’s achievements have come as a result of collaboration. This is such an important point. Sovereignty doesn’t have to mean isolation. You can be fiercely independent and still understand that the greatest things we build are built together. And yeah, if someone’s work genuinely adds value to your life, don’t just say “nice post.” Put some skin in the game. Time, attention, talent, sats, dollars support is what keeps good people building. 🧡

Your observation indicates that you are man with high experience and intelligence! Amazing.....! But the thing is that zaping a huge ammount is not possible for all. Some are biggeners and need more experience which will usually help them to earn. So what is the solution??

My point is that sats are a signal. If you see good content, be generous. It’s better to zap 1000 sats one time than 10 sats 100 times. 10 sats is noise not a signal.

Exactly. A zap should mean something. If someone puts real value into the Nostr ecosystem, I’d rather send one strong signal than a hundred tiny ones. Reward the signal, not the noise.
