It's not permissionless, though. It's simply automated permissioning. I need SpacesProtocol's permission to register @bitcoin on SpacesProtocol. At the moment SpacesProtocol's automated permission system denies me. I don't need anyone's permission to create an npub on Nostr and assign the handle @Garbage nsec to it. That is actual permissionless naming for social.
