Interesting. Then I have to guess that all Ring cameras, moving forward, are compromised & should be seen as active national security threats or the like.
Definitely something to ponder over while looking at security of self.

Well, yes, thats how I look at it. But thats also something you cannot influence yourself, unless you know someone and inform them, thats all you can actively do.
Okay there might be another thing you can actually do. Build your own, open-source alternative 😉
