I created RUNSTR because I accidentally rugged myself from the Nike Run Club app. I went in search of a nostr focused fitness app......didn't find one so I ended up creating one myself.
The Problem: Custodians and Middlemen
1. Fitness trackers like Nike Run Club and Strava are terrible custodians of your fitness data.
2. EventBrite and Active.com are middlemen charging high fees.
The Solution: RUNSTR
RUNSTR offers users a non custodial fitness tracker while building towards a P2P fitness economy that circumvents unnecessary middlemen.

https://www.runstr.club/ is working towards fitness event creation and management
RUNSTR app is working towards an anonymous health and fitness tracker built on top of nostr.

are there any fitness trackers you recommend that work with this?
I don't like carrying my phone for work outs or walks.
Great app, I really do love it, just wondering about this aspect of the work out, any feedback is appreciated!
When Germany?
Works with the apple watch, garmin integration is a work in progress
ok i will wait for garmin integration before buying one! Thank you!
Just saw we had to comply with some sort of EU Legislation called the digital services act..........
Either next release, or right now.
I know there are other projects in the fitness app domain, but can't recall who was involved or what they were called. Perhaps nostr:nprofile1qydhwumn8ghj76twdejhytnnv43xzum5d9uzuum0vd5kzmqpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqqyqrx8x3cdjwpq9ppwc3ve085pyyvfudqcvlz87xk668540m9t78hzh692k6 remembers.
Having a brief look at your kinds, is POWR also an app of yours? Because it appears to generate the 1301-events a bit differently.

It just dumps a bunch of values under ''exercise'', whilst what i gather from that spec thats not supposed to be how it works no?

Tried install on my graphene phone. Full permissions granted but still comes up with location permission error
We still need to optimize the app for graphene and calyx.

RUNSTR has been freestyling the thing with custom kinds inspired from 1301.
The exercise tag lists a kind 33401 event, which is a published exercise (eg pushups) that have associated parameters (eg, title, type, equipment, etc). Personal life got a little out of control so I’ve had to take a step back from Powr for a few months, but hoping to get back to it soon. You can mess with it at powr.build although still very buggy.
Here’s a draft of the workout nip I had been working on. https://github.com/DocNR/POWR/blob/main/docs/technical/nostr/exercise_nip.md
Has been a while I digged into this. But at that time, I it was https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/pull/1423 I was following.
