I respectfully disagree with your statement in regards to why it’s not more popular in the states.
While I acknowledge there is a percentage of people who are willfully bigoted towards people of Asian descent, the vast majority have no issue with them.
And if I am being honest, the folks at YakiHonne are probably some of the nicest people I have ever known.
In my opinion, the reason for their slow rise in popularity in the western hemisphere isn’t their nationality and it isn’t the quality of the product There simply aren’t that many people using the platform yet and when you have more well known clients like Damus, Primal and Nos taking the majority of users, especially mobile, that doesn’t leave much for anyone else.
That’s not to say that they will stay perpetually at the back of the pack, as the user base grows and more praise is deservedly dumped upon this team, the more popular they will become.
