@primal please remove csam from your hashtags.
Every hashtag feed is full of accounts like this one, sharing videos and images of child sexual abuse.
Some of these accounts are 2 years old and the media they have been sharing for that entire time is visible from your client.
After checking the URLs of the videos and images I noticed that most are being hosted on a small handful of servers.
You should not display media hosted on servers that are known to host csam.
It makes nostr look bad.
And the total lack of hashtag moderation makes your client totally unusable for new people.
One of the first things a new user does when they join #nostr is look up hashtags they find interesting, to find accounts and content worth following.
If you want to retain new users, moderate the hashtags.
If an account posts anything unrelated to the hashtag they use simply hide them from the hashtag feed with your caching server.
If links to a server used to host csam are shared to the protocol DON'T display the media.
Simple solutions that you could implement right away.
