With NIP-51, the person who creates the list is also responsible for managing which items do and do not belong on the list.
With this NIP, anyone can add an item to any list. Example: Alice creates a list called “businesses that accept bitcoin”, and then Bob adds “Bob’s Burgers” to the list. Then we use personalized trust metrics to filter out spam.
