I genuinely believe stuff like this is a psyop to drive our young people hopelessness and inaction.
Don’t believe their hype.
Ideally, we’ll be on a hard money standard that enables us to capture the true value of our work, resulting in less working overall, but not zero.

All of the deflation that has occurred over the past 50 years has gone straight to government. None has increased the wealth for the private sector. We would already be living in this kind of world if we had hard money.
Gotta keep the slave population happy & ignorant. Politicians promising other people's money, and knowing they can't tax the population to pay for the promises. Nope, gotta have a private corporation create money out of thin air, enslaving the citizens to interest payments & dollar devaluations that are the secret politicians don't want you to think about. You are enslaved, pure and simple.
Ya know how I look at statements like this from a guy who thinks engineering 23 1/2 hours a day? Well, today's science fiction is tomorrows reality..
Part of his carefully crafted image is to make you believe he’s doing that. I don’t buy he’s the engineering genius he sells himself as.
I suppose, but look at what the dude's done. Unless he's advocating for there to be gov't force exerted over the citizens to get his way, to loot taxpayers, he's certainly bringing innovation & jobs. I did not like him borrowing millions when he first started up. I used to call him the Subsidy King. But I know for a fact he paid back every dollar borrowed from the taxpayer for his private companies, and early too. We have a need now to use his rockets, so I guess taxpayers are going to involved, but who knows what products may come down the road because of the investment.
I don’t disagree that he’s done impressive stuff. But there are a ton of weird inconsistencies in what he does and how presents himself. I’m very divided on him.
On one hand, I love what he’s done with spaceX, but then he goes and says some shit about having his robots follow everyone around to prevent crime.
Yeah, he can be hard to figure out what his next move might be, but he talks free speech & free people, so I'd give him the benefit of the doubt..
