Gm 😀👊☕️ The middle schooler and I feed the goats this morning. It was a ton of fun. “So where can you spend the stats?” (they kept saying stat…) “Well, I paid for the 1/4 of a cow we’re getting with sats.” “But where else?” “There is a coffee shop that accepts the sats.” Silence. The net net: feeding the goats was fun, and, they wouldn’t call it money since we can’t spend it most places. Seems like a fair analysis for a middle schooler. Have a great day. #coffeechain #plebchain #circulareconomy #parenting nostr:nevent1qqsq5tl7qwuhhqs683ktk4vwn0e26urz5pqfamsrqjdwc0urlkh0njqwnyz02

The interesting thing about the "It can't be spent everywhere and so it isn't money" idea is that this applies to almost all monies somewhere in the world. There's hundreds of fiat currencies which can be spent in various places, but not anywhere else. For the nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7erfw36x7tnsw43z7un9d3shjqfxwaehxw309akxuc3wvfhkcan9wf4k2u3wvdhk6tmwdaehgunjv4kxz7f0xcmrvqpqv60thnx0gz0wq3n6xdnq46y069l9x70xgmjp6lprdl6fv0eux6mqdevkm4 Only Sats are money. You can't send anything else, no dollars, no rubles, nothing but Bitcoin. This isn't meant to negate the middle schooler's ideas. It's just an interesting side thought for them to consider. Pesos can't be spent at our American Walmarts... are they money? Only Sats can be spent with the Goats... is everything else not money? image
