When we were searching for a homebirth midwife, one thing I did was go to the midwife’s social media page and/or website. If there were any words like “pregnant person” or “chest feeding”, I did not move on to the next step, which was an interview with them. Pregnancy and childbirth are sacred and vulnerable.
