Whilst I get what you’re saying, and I was leaning towards this tactic when studying best practices, in the end I decided that I would just be playing in their system if I did what you’re suggesting.

This whole world works on UCC (Contract Law) and Maritime Law.
If you want to beat them you have to "speak their language".
And the best way is to play with their own Contract Law.
