It's weird how pro American I was when I was little because my parents were so overboard with the American family type thing. I didn't even rebel against it as a teenager until I was like 19 and then it wasn't even that big of a thing I just decided that i liked Russia and was kind of a duginist for a few years. Glad that passed tbh.
