I think it’s cool how employers are acting tough and laying off tons of people or massively stripping benefits as though those people can’t turn around, start their own business and become competition that is extraordinarily skilled in exactly the same industry. 2026 is going to be a new era of agency for a lot of talented folks GM

That’s not what I am talking about. Most people are not skilled or talent outside their professional fields. I am talking about dishonesty, taking advantage of others, turning the table, blaming others, mind influencing etc. They have no idea how to do these or what to do when others do these to them. They reply on a perfect office environment to do their narrow scope of work. They will be cooked before becoming a competitor.

I’m speaking to corporate/board leadership removing/breaking up A teams, for a speculative bump in stock price, here. And the wider effects this practice will have on a cross industry scale. It only takes a few newly minted competitors to disrupt things. I’ve seen it happen within my network personally but not experienced it myself directly.
