Being single looks really fun, to be honest. No hard work, no responsibilities, no rules, just have fun and party and travel all the time. I married so young that I don't really remember what it was like to be single, and that was a quarter century ago, so YMMV, but all I recall is lots of free time and relaxation and exercise.

at 49 i could do with not having any more lol. tbh i wanted to marry at 21 but the girl had this junky wench chattering in her ear and kicked me to the curb. said wench wound up dead in her boyfriend's car of CO poisoning a month or two later. but it was like. uh. well, idk. truth be told i had zero prospects of getting a decent job at that time. so here i sit, after way too much of this "good stuff" i'm tired of it. want the farmers wife and the swarming littlies causing chaos to put them to their best uses on the homestead. modern fiat culture has ruined society. people used to actually have lives and futures and legacies and hope. nowadays it's hopping from one dopamine hit to the next.

Between no-fault divorce, a justice system that is very generous to women, and the sexual revolution, of course being single looks attractive. It's all lies, though. I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir here. Getting married young is a gift. Getting to know oneself first is overrated. A good life consists of community built on marriage, family, and friendships. Men and women find themselves when in service of and friendship with others.
