I remember that game. I was pretty hooked on the first metal gear on the NES.
Metal Gear on the PS1 was probably one of my favorite. I played through that many times

Dude, I bought a PS1 just to play that game! Played until my mum wanted to send me to bed and then realised that the console didn't come with a memory card. So I waited for my mum to go to bed, played until like 7am. Waited for her to go to work and then finished the first playthrough. Took me like 18 hours flat.
Next day I went and bought a memory card.
