Yeah, but that doesn't scale well because everyone needs to run a private relay. And security is weak because if the note is shared it's not encrypted. Not many clients let you post to a specific relays only easily.

I’ve always thought clients should handle pgp keys so we could share pgp keys with certain groups and then just encrypt certain notes and clients would just automatically decrypt those notes if it had the proper keys…
Then we could have different pgp keys for different groups and just blast everything out in the wild…
