There is absolutely no way to stop me from making any number of accounts to consistently zap my own content to make it look like it’s getting more zaps then it really is.

Yes, everything can be faked. Good content will be Zap, commented, liked, and forwarded by trusted accounts, which is the foundation of the trust network.
