Do you miss RSS feeders? Did you know that you can essentially turn your social nostr client an RSS feed reader? 1. Visit https://rsslay.nostr.moe 2. Create or Find your RSS feed. 3. Copy the npub that you found or created. 4. Visit
Listr
Listr is the best way to curate, organize, and discover everything that Nostr has to offer. Build new lists, stay organized, and browse collections.
 5. Login with NIP-07 extension. 6. Create a new List called 'News' or whatever. 7. Paste all of the npub's for your RSS feeds. 8. Add relay wss://rsslay.nostr.moe to your social client and view your List in your social client. 9. If your social client does not support Lists, then you'll need to individually follow all of the npubs that you added to a List back in Step 7. 10. Enjoy RSS feeds on nostr.

Getting better list support is in our roadmap. I think it’s a powerful feature. We updated rsslay so it generates long form formatted markdown instead of the unformatted tweet like posts. You can see it at rss.nos.social I think probably a new tool that does better state tracking is needed.

My original first glance reaction at nostr was actually "wait a second, this is just rss with extra steps" 🀣. Still use rss to track and read selected blog posts. Aaron Schwartz would have been all over nostr. He would be proud.
