Do you just heat it with the ghee?

You put the ghee in the pot and heat it up with 3 kernels. After you hear the three pop, you add the rest of the kernels and keep moving the pot on the heat until you hear the popping almost stop. I don’t wait until they completely stop because then you get some burnt ones.

I've never had ghee before.
I make popcorn with bacon grease, lard, and tallow -- but never even tasted ghee.
Bacon grease is also excellent. I prefer popcorn cooked with ghee and I save my bacon grease for cooking eggs
