Venerable Martyr Visarion, born in 1904, embraced monastic life at Lainici Monastery, Romania. During a period of communist persecution, he steadfastly defended his faith, refusing to renounce Christ. Arrested and subjected to torture, he endured immense suffering with unwavering resolve. Visarion ultimately succumbed to the brutality in 1949, becoming a symbol of resistance against oppression.
