One of the biggest lessons my husband has taught me: the power of โmaybeโ.
Our word carries weight.
Every time we say yes, weโre making a commitment. And if our actions donโt follow, trust slowly fades.
So often we commit out of excitement, habit, or the desire to please, already knowing inside it might not happen.
When our words and actions align, respect grows. And sometimes the most honest thing we can say is โmaybeโ

Sure, we should always be honest. But we must make decisions too, so we must commit, and a commitment is never a maybe. A maybe will never find you a friend, or a lover, or a child, or a lifelong passion, or a full-time profession. Enthusiasm is never a maybe.
Sometimes that โmaybeโ could / should become a clear โnoโ.
