Sententia impopularis: I'm not a fan of privatizing everything. If transportation and communication infrastructure, public safety, emergency services, and energy supply were as remarkably well-managed and high in quality as the water supply in Germany, I would gladly support paying for them - through clearly defined fees rather than general taxation. Or to put it differently: I’d happily zap it. Value for value! Reliability, quality, clearly defined purpose, and efficiency should motivate citizens to contribute - not the use of state force.
