You're music collection is essentially rentified. And since you pay, you except to not be the product. However, the only reason Spotify is allowed to continue to exist despite never ever turning a profit, is because even paying subscribers are the product: Spotify and music streaming services arw the only known source for data points on a persons emotional state.
Then of course there's the question as to the margins of your subscription that actually ends up in support of the music industry, rather than the armement bizniz...
I mean, I could go on and on, but I'm gonna go down in a basement play some obscure records that you can't find on Spotify. π
I don't blame you, I get the convenience. We love music, but someone's gotta do the music.
