Do you really want the standard people use to be non open source??
Corporate tech cartels are easy enough to establish with VC funding.
Primal is open source for now.
They're funded by the same people who find & operate Coinkite.
This is their way of operating.
Create market share under guisse of Free Open Source Software,
Then rug pull & license up with the state to protect their moat.
