Sounds like the real conversation is whether adoption should be banned or even banned from alphabet couples. For that matter considering the nonzero number of biological family members that do it when are we implementing background checks on parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents before people get permission to procreate? If we’re going to be proactive about not letting children into that situation instead of removing them from it as best as can be done after the fact. Also single/widowed/divorced parents are probably going to have to stay single until a serious background check is ran before they get permission from the government to get into a relationship while their children are 18. You know. For the children. If the question is whether or not the government should recognize gay marriage I’m fine with either answer to that question. As long as heterosexual marriage gets the same level of recognition from the government.
