Coca de llardons. Today is "dijous gras" (something like fatty thursday), the day in Catalonia when we celebrate the starting of carnival eating sausage and this cake made from "llardons", a sort of bacon. You should taste it! Then, next wednesday we close this celebrating days with "l'enterro de la sardina" (the burial of the sardine) that is a street parade that simulates the burial of this fish and, almost in my town, finishes with eating barbacued sardines.
