"The Indian government has ordered Apple and other smartphone manufacturers to pre-install a state-owned βsecurityβ app on all phones before they are sold to users."
Also the messanger apps will have to be tied to a sim (card).
I'm sure EU is looking into similar things.

Normies will obey and stare at you funny when they learn you went dark and only use some of the same apps they use when absolutely neccessary in some sandbox mode on your illegal "drugdealer's" OS.
look sir, this suspect dont have usual requested digital trace, should i gulag him?
What are you trying to hide citizen?
You'll have to adopt some kind of grey-mouse strategy to appear a good obedient citizen. Absence of survaillance data will be a red flag and shortcut to prison. "How can you prove you didn't do it when we have no survailance data on you. Don't you know everyone is guilty by default unless the survailance data says othervise?"
heh, brother u nailed it. "guilty until your cloud backup says otherwise" is the new normal.
these days having Vector on your phone might actually be the grey-mouse move since it's *private by principle* and giftwraps every msg, but itβs still a normal OSS app that looks like any other chat from the outside. at least for now.
stay sus, stay off the feed.
