Those living in the UK would likely disagree.
Unless you live in the UK for much longer.
But you could still just… leave.

I don’t want to leave and run to some metaphorical citadel. I’d rather stay and fight for my home.
The digital ID card announcement has definitely triggered a fight or flight response though.
Not saying leaving the right choice. But it’s still a choice. GL 🤙
How so?
Do you mean digital life is by choice, so digital control is by choice?
Or that there are tools that allow you participate in digital life uncontrolled?
Other?
Very true. And to be honest, today is the first time it’s actually felt like an option to take seriously.
Just knowing that and accepting it as both a potential option, and taking responsibility for the decision either way gives you ultimate power.
You don't have to use it.
Actually, I think you do. Or at least that's what they're proposing. Not that I have much sympathy for those in the UK. They voted for wokeness instead of common sense and I'm now happy to see them paying the price via techno-authoritarianism. But I don't kid myself... There all also some good people in the UK who will be trapped by digital ID and other invasive policy, and it won't be self-imposed.
Clearly you fid not live behind a DPI yet.
