I have never understood why some people thought it was a good idea to seek validation from a system #bitcoin was designed to destroy. Where did the idea come from that recognition from policymakers= winning? Now we have a bunch of nutjobs all over social media who drool everytime a celeb or politico says anything mildly positive or even neutral about bitcoin, and use that to shill outrageous price predictions to entrap more fools to come for the gains, that ironically are priced in fiat. Maybe this should have been an essay or article because there is much to be said, but I will say this; during the era when cars were still a new invention; no carmaker was going around looking for validation from the horse and buggy associations or the equivalents. They just made cars, proved that they were better than horse drawn carriages and despite very stiff opposition they prevailed by getting their invention in front of as many people as possible. It's time for the intolerant minority who wish to use bitcoin as money and nothing else, do more of that and continue building tools that enable more people to join them. NgU may allow you in the moment to arbitrage between two alternative financial systems, but that's a short-lived value proposition that makes zero sense in the long run when you understand that NgU in fiat ≠ BTC increase in value; but is a measurement of fiat's continued weakening. $1M BTC price is a signal for impending chaos as that will ultimately mean that fiat's value has plummeted severely that there will be more hunger, violence and crime especially among no coiners who will be caught swimming naked when the tide goes out. Whatever else you build, don't build it on a fiat foundation because it will collapse as fiat collapses. Bite the bullet and build a life that is unassailable by the fiat overlords and their evil money which is engineered to drain your blood like a vampire and steal your time. If the latter proposal to serfdom sounds attractive to you, keep buying stonks, working hard and saving for the long term in fiat. For everyone else, stop seeking approval from a system designed to destroy you and your family.
