Parmanode & ParmaDrive do not support Bitcoin Core version 29.0.
Knots is its default, lower versions of Core will always be available. Remember it ot doesn't matter which Bitcoin flavour you use if all you care about is running real Bitcoin and staying in consensus. Core is not the only dev team, so fuckem โข - Core is not what Bitcoin is.
To use Core version 29.0 with ParmaDrive/Parmanode you need to be "lying and tricking the code, woah woah woah" ๐ถ

Unluckly on my RB pi4 knots 28 seems not working fine. Then I reinstalled bitcoincore 27 and set datacarrier=0 in .conf file. Can I do something better on that hardware?
Anyway, I really love what you're doing with parmanode.
although i disagree with node-in-a-box solutions, thank you
They should not be the end of the road for the technically capable, but they are an excellent introduction. You can agree to that surely?
Not working fine in what way?
Running Parmanode on Pi4 is my best suggestion
Do you include instructions on how to not need what you're selling?
It gets quite hot and the SSD drive too. After a while it stops working.
Now I just tried updating the PI, installing a fresh version of knots 28.1 and reducing maxmempool and dbcache values.
Sorry, unluckly I'm not too technical, but trying to learn :)
Make sure not to stack the drive and Pi on top of each other
Of course!
You'd be surprised what I've come across
