It’s not just the US. I was recently declined by an Airbnb host (in EU) after refusing to send them links to my social media.
I told them that the Airbnb verification system is in place, but that still wasn’t enough for them…

That’s kinda fucked up, but it’s someone’s private house vs. an entire country with supposed laws that protect free expression, so it’s a bit different.
No one's telling them they can't express whatever they want. But if you're saying fuck the US in social media, why would we let you in? Seriously?
