Outside the US, unfortunately, inches, feet, ounces, and Fahrenheit are just as incomprehensible as “soccer” and whatnot.

Brits still use feet and inches, pounds and stone when talking about height and weight - except when we go to the doctors who insist on using Euro measurements for some reason!
