It could be too, it's just too hard to reach :) so most actions are at the bottom

I find the top easier tbh. When I am scrolling my stream my finger is in the middle of the screen and the phone is on the middle of my palm. Making it easier to reach the top. As opposed when typing tge phone would lie on the bottom of my palm, this is when the bottom button would be easier.
