I was hoping to finish the prep work for fence installation this morning, but got held up with vines all over a small tree. While working on those I noticed a bunch of small fruit scattered all around only to realize these vines were smothering a persimmons tree.
Now, I haven't seen many persimmons in my life to know how they compare, but these are the largest I've ever seen. About the size of a racquet ball. The tree is loaded with fruit.
Unfortunately a few limbs had to be sacrificed in the cleanup effort. The overgrowth was unreal. I've been procrastinating on this for years not realizing what was hidden under all those vines.
