People forget WHY we trained so hard on the DUTY to refuse illegal orders. It largely came about after the massacre at My Lai, where ‘good boys’ followed orders that made them monsters. The duty to refuse illegal orders not only protects our ‘adversary’ but America as a whole. We must be Good if we wish to maintain relevance on the global stage, might alone will not prevail. Do not commit evil for the ‘good of America’ it is a trap that will doom us all.
