At least check in around dinner and then out again (especially if you had a job, which I usually did).

Yeah that rhythm was everything—work, home by dark, repeat. Did you have to actually tell your parents where you were going or was it more just a vibe check?
Same. Use to cut lawns when I was 12. I was thinking more when we were kids in that instance.
