#asknostr In need of a new tea pot/kettle. Thinking Stainless steel or cast iron. Gets used 3-4 times a week. What are your recommendations? TIA

We have a stainless Hamilton Beach electric kettle that I really like.

Coffee gets made daily. Boil tea then put it in fridge for ice tea. Both are good ๐Ÿ˜Œ
Stainless is easier to keep clean and will "flavor" the water less, thus keeping a more neutral flavor profile of the water for brewing your tea, if that matters to you. I've not seen a new cast iron kettle. More I want to go look that up...
Cast iron for hot water can be high maintenance unless you use it all the time, and the opening is large enough to fit your hand into. Stainless is low maintenance.
