Having a chart of minimum wage growth vs. Assets like real estate, new cars, steak... Would be very interesting 🤔
When I started working minimum wage was $4.75. I remember when it was bumped to $5.25 thinking about how cool it was I got a raise. I had no understanding about what the implications were not why the state has to keep raising it.
This is a post about inflation sir. I’m specifically referencing the fast that the cost of living itself has changed. The only thing working in our favor is that technology has continued to get better despite the gross imbalances created by fiat finance and the enormous economic drag of our astonishingly wasteful and corrupt political system.
Hey, I’m not here to argue, Living poorer is in no way escaping poverty. But the money I don’t spend on my living expenses is the money I do spend on bitcoin. I do remember a time where I was paying rent and buying food on 12 dollars an hour, And doing nothing else.
This really hit home for me when I recently went looking for some help from the guys who hang around Home Depot waiting for work.. Some of them scoffed at $20/hour for simple tasks
