my 2 cents - i think Primal is approaching the NOSTR client space the best at the moment as cool and open as the NOSTR protocol is to run a multitude of apps, websites etc to interact with, the vast vast majority of users will likely lock into one client for all their hosting, wallet, and feed needs integrating all these features seamlessly into one client is expensive, might require KYC and some regulatory oversight, but it will ultimately win users and creators over creators are the bread and butter for NOSTR - whatever single tool makes it extremely fast for them to interact and share is ultimately going to dominate market share the other options for privacy are good to have and are essential for freedom but the growth engine for NOSTR will likely come under the umbrella of vertically integrated apps/clients that touch the bitcoin side

In the “good - fast - cheap” triangle (I’d put security and privacy in the “good” category), fast and/or cheap will always win the majority. My worry is that Primal will become another PayPal. PayPal started as a credit card/bank alternative, until they went so far towards fast/cheap that they ended up becoming what they were originally an alternative to. Isn’t Primal with KYC and “oversight” just another Facebook? But maybe that’s what the normies want. A Facebook clone without the hated-CEO-of-the-day… image

the attractive part of NOSTR besides the freedom is just the vibe. no clickbait, no ads makes it feel way more authentic and a throwback to old chatrooms/2006 facebook. that has been a pitch i make now to most of my normie friends. makes it more appealing than zaps/no censorship pitch
