Yeah there are real CSAM markets on telegram. But police aren’t actually interested in investigating them, we just report and takedown. Most CSAM markets on telegram seem to be cases where minors are producing and selling porn of themselves. They’re blocked from legit platforms so they use telegram. The thing is, who’s the victim? Is it good and ok that it’s happening, probably not but the solution would be both therapy for these kids, and a network of support. We go crazy about shutting down CSAM but do almost nothing about the children being abused.

I hear you, but the first step is to just take it down. No one needs to see that. Blessings to those that work in that field and are forced to be exposed to that. I’m happy that I don’t because the implications are unintended and unfortunate.
