My recommendation is to do what we’ve been doing for how many years now, having personal conversations. You and I have built a relationship over the past 3 years through hours and hours of chatting. Can a NOSTR badge compare to what we’ve built?

Not both equally. What you boys are doing in the physical is astronomically more impactful than NOSTR reputation building.

You are right. Once a human connection has been made it transcends any tech. Even any context. And it's helpful in way more ways than any app can try to profit from.

I'm with you and @MaxUM that the hype around Nostr is a red flag. I completely stopped listening to almost all Bitcoin podcast because it was endless Nostr hype.

The Nostr wave crashed a few weeks ago. Not because it’s bad, because the content needs to evolve. Customers go where the content is.

That’s interesting. I’ve noticed the same. A good portion of my #40hpw of listening is made up of my friends’ podcasts, with the rest being history, alternative history, religious, and agriculture content. I don’t think we all get the 'feels' like we used to from socializing around Bitcoin and its adjacent themes, now that reality has set in for many of the Polyannists who claimed Bitcoin was more than a monetary tool. But people were addicted to the hopium, so they transferred their projections to NOSTR, yet alas, the same applies. I’d like it if sometimes we never mentioned Bitcoin or NOSTR at all on our PMM show, but I understand many of the Meahtadelians are building on NOSTR and are heavily invested in the technology and I respect their work and vision. We’ll continue to cover what they’re working on and continue to support them, but physical PoW and IRL connections will always appeal more to me personally. *my opinions here do not represent the Meshtadel or Ungovernable Misfits, this is my personal opinion, or as Mr. Crown would classify it as ‘A Misfit Rant’.

Most Bitcoin podcast are just Zoom calls to sell ads. I spent 4 hours listening to this and laughing my ass off the whole time.
