Yep, for some reason "influencers", are giving zero air time to Luke or Mechanic. All we want is an honest discussion. Odell who tells y'all to be humble, gets emotional, and loses his shit, and accuses Luke and Mechanic of some diabolical shit. Be humble @ODELL Let's get Dathom, Mechanic, Luke, and maybea couple Core folk on your cast. I wanna hear why honest discussion was shut down in the PR, and people were banned for giving non-emotional PR feedback. Forks happen when thoughtful discussion is frozen out. It's time to fucking talk sensibly, and honestly.

I think the simplest reason is the answer. Luke and mechanic are genuinely looking out for bitcoin and the core crowd are trying to make bitcoin different. Why? Two obvious conclusions -Greed -control

Luke calling everyone a liar isn't at all dishonest it's self or disingenuous.

They might have good intentions, and curbing non-monetary uses is a great goal, but the execution is terrible, and this BIP would hurt bitcoin future if they had their way. Hurting by overprotecting... there was a pretty good video from Academy of Ideas about that theme 🤔
