10-15 laying right now, many of them banty or banty+orp mix, and then 20 bym chicks. Two summers ago, we got 2 doz full size eggs a day. We have a pretty egg centric diet. Dogfood, deviled eggs, eggs for breakfast, boiled eggs. When we had 20 more laying hens, we had enough for several customers. This is a reset year. I’m about to buy amereraucana and marans eggs tonight. Then when that’s established, maybe some fresh Orpington blood this fall.

We have about 28 right now. Buff Orphenton, Black Australorp, RI Reds, Isa Browns, Silver Laced, Golden Laced & Blue Laced Wyandottes. Plus Americaunas, Starlight Green, Bluebell Egger, Olive Eggers & an Easter Egger, , Sussex, Black Sex link and Barred Rock. Lol I have quite the diversity but would love more! Mine all have names, believe it or not and I know each by their names!
